I'm Rachael, Owner + Lead Planner & Designer at Melrose Events. With a degree in event management and just under a decade of experience, my love for all things weddings and events runs deep. I thrive in all the moving pieces and find peace in the creativity. After years in the industry, I finally had the courage to take the leap and create something of my own.
Melrose is a Twin Cities-based events company specializing in wedding planning, day of coordination and floral design. Your wedding is one of the most important days of your life and something I don't take lightly. It's my goal to work along side you to bring your vision to life and support you along the way. It takes a village to plan and execute a wedding and it would be an honor to be a part of that village!
When I'm not knee deep in timelines or emails, I love being a mom to baby Coleman and puppy Sammy, walks to the coffee shop on Sunday morning and spending time with family.

Rewind to August 0f 2019. Tyler and I (my now husband) were packing up our lives and moving down to Nashville, excited for a new adventure and nervous because we were leaving all sense of comfortability behind. Knowing very little about Nashville, we moved into a small apartment in the Melrose neighborhood. Little did we know that the next 3 years would be a transformative time for us both as a couple and individually.
Although our time in Nashville was short, I will always cherish our years there. I grew so much in my relationship with myself and with Tyler and I'm forever grateful for that opportunity.
Which is the reason I picked Melrose as the name of this new adventure. To remind myself of our time in Nashville, the growth and that nothing comes from staying within your comfort zone.
